I didn’t set out to start a ring company. I just wanted a band I actually liked.

Shopping for a wedding ring, everything felt the same: generic metal, loud “story” materials, or Hawaiian styling that barely meant anything. I wanted something quieter. Something that felt like a place.

That’s how PELE began. Koa wood set in tungsten, built for everyday wear. One wood. One metal. Nothing that needs explaining.

Today it’s still the same idea. A ring you get married in, or a ring you just wear — to work, to the beach, on an ordinary Tuesday. Not a catalog of options that could belong to anyone, anywhere.
